Vaish Mahila Mahavidyalya, Rohtak was founded in 1973 as the Girls’ section of Vaish College, Rohtak by Vaish Education Society to promote and encourage higher education for girls in this region. In 1992, the college got the status of an independent college, affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and has been receiving grant from UGC from the session 1997-98.
The college, located in the centre of city with beautiful triple storey building, is equipped with an excellent infrastructure and all needed facilities for students like Multipurpose Gymnasium Hall, 6 Fully AC Computer Labs with Wi-Fi facility, Generator sets, Smart Boards, Magic Studio, LCD Projectors, Visualiser and Hostel facility for students coming from rural and far off areas.
